Windscreen Replacement
PERFECT WINDOWSCREEN REPLACEMENT
It is best to replace the glass with one that was installed at the factory. Because used windows may be dull,
and have scratches or other defects that affect the comfort and safety of driving, we recommend buying a new one.
It is worth remembering that although the differences in price can be very large, the most expensive pane of glass will not always be the best.
CAR GLASS REPLACEMENT PROCESS
Windscreen replacement is quite a complicated process that requires the use of appropriate tools and chemicals.
First, remove the wipers, seals and clamps according to the car manufacturer's recommendations.
Then, using a special knife, the glass is cut out and removed with suction cups. The next step is to thoroughly clean the car body surface from old glue and possibly corrosion.
A layer of special glue is applied to the cleaned surface, and the new windshield is adjusted to the bodywork using suction cups.
The process of setting the glue takes several days, so you should use the car especially carefully during this time.
CAN I REPLACE THE WINDOW IN THE CAR BY MYSELF?
Of course, with the right knowledge and tools, you can replace the damaged glass yourself,
but we recommend using the services of a specialist workshop. Incorrect installation may result in leaks or even cracking of the newly replaced windshield
